Heather mountain
Here is the hermitage as I saw it from the lake on the far side. As I sat to paint on my magic slate my pony rested.
A hermit is a person who lives apart from society. Traditionally, this has meant living alone and self-sufficiently, but not always. This House of Solitude is occupied by a Hermit who came from the Lemurian Abbey to connect back to nature and enjoy the serenity and tranquility. She welcome guests. Fran! I am so touched. This is just stunning. What an exquisite painting, full of so much meaning. The good news is that Darryl got a good report from the doctor today. The scan revealed that the cancer has gone from the lungs and is rapidly shrinking in the pelvis and bowel. Doig was very happy and when Rohan is happy so are we.
I must tell you what happened this morning. Darryl and I went to Epworth to get results of the mid chemotherapy scan that they had done. When Rohan Doig told us the news was good I could have burst into tears. The thing is this! As we walked up to the hospital a Raven leapt down in front of us and walked along, leading us. She wasn't timid but did fly up and perched on a fence. Darryl commented on her and I looked back and gave her the thumbs up. I knew we would get good news but I did not know that it would be such good news.
Stunning image and the best news..
O my dears, I am so relieved for you and so hoping that the pain is going too. We will sleep more peacefully tonight with hope for you. Be happy. love, Fran
I can't think of a better way to start my day than to read your so upbeat message. Great news, my dear. Hugs to both of you and keep those ravens flying.

It is wonderful news thanks Vi, Fran and Monika. I too slept more easily last night Fran. The pain is all under control now but the main news is that the cancer has shrunk right back and we are only half way through the treatment. Perhaps because I am home full time now but Darryl seemed to handle the last treatment much better and did not suffer as many unpleasant side effects.
love Heather
This painting is spectacular, and so is Heather's news...I'm glad your raven friends are looking out for you, Heather.
Thank you Leonie: I should be proud to be in the art room.
