Honouring the Raven
Nourished raven comes
wraps me in her cloak
and takes me
away from a realm of pain and grief
to show that all seeing eyes
know
feel
share the burden
I am not alone.
A hermit is a person who lives apart from society. Traditionally, this has meant living alone and self-sufficiently, but not always. This House of Solitude is occupied by a Hermit who came from the Lemurian Abbey to connect back to nature and enjoy the serenity and tranquility. She welcome guests. Heather, this is one of your best drawings yet. Beautiful!
I agree, this is just stunning. The solitude is good:-)
WOW! What an awesome dedication to the raven ... totem to so many, and the bearer of healing magic.
