The Lemurian Hermitage
A hermit is a person who lives apart from society. Traditionally, this has meant living alone and self-sufficiently, but not always. This House of Solitude is occupied by a Hermit who came from the Lemurian Abbey to connect back to nature and enjoy the serenity and tranquility. She welcome guests. A great photograph, Monika. I love the way the delicate leaves in the foreground leap out out of the picture to grab the viewer's attention and creating a wonderful 3D effect.
Vi
Vi, you are quite right here. They do. The more I look at it the more it seems 3D!
The Maiden Hair is one of my favourite ferns. They are delicate leafed, yet amazingly resiliant. Some of mine are quite elderly now and keep on blooming.
Love that concept, Heather.
