The Lemurian Hermitage
A hermit is a person who lives apart from society. Traditionally, this has meant living alone and self-sufficiently, but not always. This House of Solitude is occupied by a Hermit who came from the Lemurian Abbey to connect back to nature and enjoy the serenity and tranquility. She welcome guests. I saw an otter and an eagle at first glance. What tree is it Vi?
Faucon and Monika, I found the stump just off Trail Ridge Road in Colorado--can't tell you any more than that about it. I snapped the picture with a Polaroid, just because I found the stump fascinating. I didn't take a lot of time which I do usually when making pictures. It wasn't until I looked at the print later, that I began to visualize the creatures within and wished I had spent more time. When I made a digital image, the creatures became clearer. I normally take time for pre-visualization, this time I didn't, and the result surprised me.
I see an eagle, a hawk, an ancient skull, probably that of an ungulate, a couple of song birds, a snake, and a whale. Some don't see anything at all, others see much more so it's all in the eye of the beholder. Whatever it is, to me it's an interesting accident.

That's amazing Vi. And Colorado. I would think that every time you look there is more to see. I am going to take a look over a few days and see what else I find. Sounds like a good moment too, to work with an image like that. Oh happy days;-)
Vi, now I can see a snake, the eagle again, and would you believe a shoe last down below. Amazing.
Just keep looking, Monika, the more you look the more you see. And sometimes the pictures within the picture changes and something else appears, or so it seems.

I love that Vi. So great you posted the pic here;-)
