The Lemurian Hermitage
A hermit is a person who lives apart from society. Traditionally, this has meant living alone and self-sufficiently, but not always. This House of Solitude is occupied by a Hermit who came from the Lemurian Abbey to connect back to nature and enjoy the serenity and tranquility. She welcome guests. Ah, yes, the stately oak, tree of legend, of fairy tale, and of history. I think that, as children, our love of trees began with the oak. It was so for me. My house, as a child, was surrounded by oak trees--ancient ones. I like to think that they probably looked out for me--took care of me.
Your pictures, Monika, are grand.

The oak has always had special meaning for me. She reminds me to stand strong and tall. Beautiful images Monika
They would have, Vi. How wonderful to grow up in those surrounds. Very special, I think, just quietly, something to dream on, reminisce about.
Yes, Heather, that comes across, and we can be tall and strong like that. Swooning for these ancient trees!
