The Lemurian Hermitage
A hermit is a person who lives apart from society. Traditionally, this has meant living alone and self-sufficiently, but not always. This House of Solitude is occupied by a Hermit who came from the Lemurian Abbey to connect back to nature and enjoy the serenity and tranquility. She welcome guests. Bet you had to lay on your back on the ground to get that first picture. It's a difficult angle to shoot from otherwise, but however you managed it, you got a great image.
I used to get down on my knees or lay flat on the ground, on my belly, for close-up work. Can't do that any more because of a low back problem plus arthritis.
Wish I could share some of the images I got then, but they are all in slides and they don't scan well at all.

I would love to see your pics, Vi. It would be amazing. The world looks different from different angles, and I have never realised this more than lately, and we can alter our perception. This tree taught me a lot, and your comments are always really valuable:-)
