The Lemurian Hermitage
A hermit is a person who lives apart from society. Traditionally, this has meant living alone and self-sufficiently, but not always. This House of Solitude is occupied by a Hermit who came from the Lemurian Abbey to connect back to nature and enjoy the serenity and tranquility. She welcome guests. You speak, Monika, of cooler weather and autumn colors, while we are preparing for 100 degree plus temperatures. 'Tis a topsy turvy world, is it not? We are moving our potted plants into deep shade, hoping they will survive.
Lovely pictures.

Vi, I can't believe this. One hundred degrees plus, it is a topsy turvy world. But you are clever, because you have the best of both worlds. Do you call it Spring, still, where you are? Is it similiar weather all year round? So pleased these pics bring welcome colours into your life:-)
Yes, Monika, it is spring. And no, it is not hot like that all year. In winter, the temperatures hover anywhere between the low forties and fifties. It can get pretty cold, but it doesn't usually stay that way for long. We can have snow on Superstition Mountain, but it doesn't stay long either. The thing I dislike about the summer here is having to live in air conditioning all the time. I call it canned air, but thank goodness we have it ... life would be unbearable without it.
