Balmy Summery Day - Coastal Scenes

An early taste of summer?
It was balmy today, as if time
had shifted to the tropics,
and winter was suddenly over.
The air is sweet with blossoms
and fruits, now, a heady time of
year. Memory of the dark
at once forgotten.

Spring Maiden

In Spring she
is white,
dusting off
the dark,
resplendent
in pale
finery.

Going Green

Glowing, going green
a hedge in the sun,
surfacing, rising,
coming out.
Bright to the eyes,
after the dark earth,
the sun warms
the green and it
glows.

Shower of Stars

I saw a shower of stars,
in the sky and on
the earth.
I saw a shower of stars,
expertly placed,
and artistically worked,
and they were
just so.
No hand had made
them so,
they were expertly
placed.
There was a shower
of stars in the
sky and on
the earth, no
human hand had made.

Cross Over

Prompted because of a post of mine on 'the other blog',
I searched on the phrase 'how to do' and found this ...

Work of the Trees

The children came to dance beneath the trees,
to laugh and tumble in the rusting leaves,
and learn of simple life by Nature's touch.

Then they grew tall, broad and long of hair,
And knowledge was seized like a stolen pear
while the wisdom of flowers was trampled.

As men and women they forgot to sing,
of such natural truths that wonders bring,
and their spirits withered in sad decay.

Yet some still heard the laughing leaves of dawn
and became shaman, wizard, seer and crone,
and rekindled the spark of innocence.

They live where what was, is what now will be,
nurturing powers drawn from memory,
for within yourself is rebirthing Light.

Living challenge will dictate 'what to do',
but 'how to do' must be found within you,
each by each to wonder where ever when.

Postcards From Cyberia

Just because Imogen has decided to take a working holiday in Cyberia at the new Hermitage Villa does not mean she will be abandoning Lemuria. No, there will still be things happening here, as nature never stops. These postcards are taken of a wonderful place in Cyberia, found while Imogen was out exploring. This place changes colours, according to dreams. It is called the "Villa of Dreams", after all.

He found it!

In 1964 my brother and I took a trip to Yosemite National Park. Half Dome you may recognize. The other formation is 'Old Man' -- many miles away and more than 2,000 feet above the valley floor. That is my brother sitting there --

I took this -- just because we could.

Never more!

Italiano Spring

Everything is covered in
sugar, sweet-like
bee-honey,
sugared almond colours,
like bonbons on every
tree.
Edible magnolias,
dainty pink
blossoms,
Italiano Spring
is good enough
to eat.
